Ingredients
- 1/2–3/4 cup very strong brewed Barako coffee, well chilled
- 1/4 cup evaporated milk or fresh milk
- 2–3 tablespoons sugar or simple syrup, to taste
- 1–1 1/2 cups ice cubes
Method
- Brew Barako coffee at double strength, let it cool, then chill it in the refrigerator.
- In a tall glass, add the sugar or simple syrup and a splash of the coffee; stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Fill the glass with ice cubes.
- Pour in the remaining chilled coffee, then add the milk.
- Stir well and taste, adjusting sweetness or milkiness as you like.
Kitchen note
Make the coffee stronger than usual so the flavour stays bold even after the ice melts.
